In 2016 Esino Lario hosted Wikimania, the worldwide conference of Wikipedia volunteers. This undertaking was made possible by applying the spirit of the free encyclopedia at a territorial level: mobilising the skills and enthusiasm of a whole community for the common good. In order to welcome the almost 1400 volunteers from over 70 countries, the entire village underwent lasting changes.
The museum covers the crucial moments of this experience and shares what it taught us all.
